My son was a student of Aperio Academy’s interdisciplinary learning programs for nearly two years, both in group settings and one-to-one sessions. Aperio Academy delivered an eight-week interdisciplinary program at the Bellingen Studio, which I co-run with other educators. From First Conversation to Lasting Impact
From the very first chat we hold with families, educators, and young participants, we turn every voice into a co-created action plan, iterate together through playful prototypes and expert reviews, and stay in partnership until each learner, classroom, and community sees tangible progress they are proud to carry forward.
Discovery & Co-Design
We begin by mapping your goals against the Aperio Framework—our evidence-based model that blends experiential learning, well-being, and civic action. A rapid needs assessment with your team, young participants, and our Youth Voice panel shapes an inclusive brief everyone owns.
Senior Advisory Review
Experts from our Senior Advisory Committee examine the concept for pedagogical rigor, accessibility, and environmental impact. Their recommendations become clear design criteria before full development begins.
Prototype & Pilot
Using human-centered design sprints, we craft bite-size prototypes such as workshop outlines, digital assets, or on-site activities and test them with a small learner cohort. Feedback from mentors and youth participants refines the experience in real time.

Launch & Facilitation
Certified facilitators deliver the complete program on-site or online, supported by trauma-aware guidelines, multilingual resources, and accessible technology. Continuous check-ins keep us responsive to learners’ evolving needs.

Media & Community Channels
Each project concludes with tailored media outputs—video recaps, podcast snippets, or interactive toolkits—so learning can ripple beyond the session. Dedicated community channels on our platform keep participants, educators, and families connected for ongoing support. – Coming soon!

Impact Reflection & Iteration
After delivery, we review data with the Advisory Committee and Youth Voice representatives. We publish an open impact brief and fold insights into the next cycle, closing the loop and elevating future programs.
